TRS Auto Repairs History

Tim Ryan heads the team at TRS Auto Repairs. He has had several years experience in mechanics and sets his business apart by delivering not only affordable and honest prices but a personalised service to all his clients.

 

It all started 35 years ago when Tim commenced his apprenticeship in Melbourne.

 

"I was working on Jaguar, Rover, Triumph and Leyland. Once I completed my formal training, now qualified, I moved to the Gold Coast."

 

His experience continued by working for various dealerships such as Holden, Nissan, Mitsubishi, continuing with local workshops and service stations. He also spent a few years working on trucks and earth moving equipment.

 

Through this experience, Tim saw a great need for more personalised service to customers and in particular to women, who seemed to be ill treated by the trade.

 

"So I started TRS Auto Repairs in 1994 and it has grown now to 5 staff and two locations.  We have been  located in Southport for 15 years and recently opened our Guanaba workshop in order to service the growing need for professional service in the Mt Tamborine and Hinterland areas."
